A practical application that allows you to batch rename files, folders, and subfolders using custom rules

Ron’s Renamer is a handy piece of software that lets you easily rename files, folders, and subfolders using custom rules and batch processing.

You can easily load the files and folders you want to rename using the browse option or drag and drop. For each item you load, the app shows details such as current and new name, last modification date, path, and size.

The program enables you to use numerous types of renaming rules, such as adding text, numbers, space, path name and date/time, but also change case, remove text, space, and numbers, reverse text, split name and insert music and image tag.

You can use multiple rules at the same time and it’s possible to save rule sets to your PC and import them for other renaming tasks. The filename results can be previews in real time and you can change the rules until you’re happy with the names before applying them.
