Portable Checksum Control 2.4.1

Portable Checksum Control is a functional tool that allows you to easily verify and write checksum files in an intuitive wizard-style interface.

The application can be run directly after downloading it, since it is portable. The interface consists of a wizard that guides you through the necessary steps of verifying checksum files. To begin with you need to select between checking or creating an MD5 or SFV hash.

If you opt for verification you will need to load a checksum file and choose between full or quick checking mode. The results will display information such as failed, skipped and missing files, all passes and errors if such is the case.

If you use the tool to create an MD5 or SFV signature you can select a folder, define which files should be skipped and optionally set a name pattern.

There are various settings you can change in order to customize the app’s behavior, such as enabling writing of MD5 hashes with separators, choosing the readbuffer size, customizing sounds for specific events and switching to a different UI language.
