DiskBoss 9.3.28

When it comes to managing all the content stored on your hard drive it can become very difficult to handle this task manually, especially if your collection of files, applications, videos and images is extremely large.

DiskBoss is a handy utility that lets you easily analyze disc space, move data, sort and organize files, search for Hash signatures and even permanently delete content you no longer need.

The tool detects the partitions on your hard disk and displays them accordingly, accompanied by related information like file system time, status, used/total space. There’s also a context menu that lets you start a search for specific files, look up and remove duplicates and analyze disc space among others.

The Command menu includes a ‘Classify and Categorize’ function, which lets you sort all your disks as well as local and shared folders. The Classify option enables the application to scan the whole disk and then show how your files are using available space but also sort them by creation/modification date or by extension.

You can also browse files and folders using various filters to organize them such as used disc space among others and the analysis results can be sorted by user name, file size or category.

Once the app completes a partition scan searching for duplicate files you can either delete them or replace the files with links to the original documents. DiskBoss offers the ability to generate charts for easy disk analysis, so you can get a general overview of occupied disk space, number of duplicate files and other similar information.

"Good features but bad implementation!" by sophia90 on May 30, 2017

The software is good and provide variety of features!

The file sync feature freezes and does not work at times. Also its not easy to use, it takes time to get going

After using it for one month I felt that I should replace it with some reliable and more efficient software. My friend suggested me to use GS Richcopy 360. I really felt the difference between these two. GS Richcopy is very far ahead in competition. It solved most of my problems related to file transferring. It provides real time file sync, long path name support, multi threaded file transfer for quick transfer. Try it hope it helps!
