Pros

- very fast
- plays anything really
- stable
- network streaming
- multi-platform

Cons

- had some problems with some subtitles
- some lagging problems with certain videos

Summary

I'm using VLC Media Player for 2 years now and I can say it's come a long way. Basically, it does everything needs to be done by your daily media player..and more!
