Several websites have reported a Windows 7 Beta download link appeared on the Microsoft Action Pack Subscription Page (MAPS). Unfortunately, Microsoft pulled it out shorter after the ‘leak’, but as you can see, screenshots were already taken so..BUSTED! Sources also stated that the Windows 7 Beta is ready for a while now, it’s just a matter of time until we can download it.

As of today, Adobe is extending its AIR (Adobe Integrated Runtime) platform to the Linux desktops, covering a gap and making the family ‘whole’. Previously avilable only for the Windows and Mac platforms, AIR is now available for Ubuntu, Fedora, Open SUSE and others. Adrian Ludwig of Adobe stated: “We’re experiencing nearly 100 million installations of Adobe AIR on Mac and Windows by the end of this year”.

DisplayFusion is a tiny application that allows you to use a different image/wallpaper for dual monitor setups. And just when you thought using different wallpapers on your dual monitors was impossible. There are several software solutions out there than allow you this tiny ‘feature’ but fortunately, DisplayFusion is free and does the job fast and as advertised.
We may witness history, as Windows XP can become the most longevive operating system as long as Microsoft won’t have any problem to reanimate it from time to time. Actually, I’m sure Microsoft isn’t too happy about it but you can’t force Vista forever and preloaded Vista systems won’t stop a XP installation, ever.
