I’m not a great fan of Windows native System Restore and i’ll probably never be, due to its buggy nature. However, the guys from Comodo managed to create a backup & restore application, similar to System Restore that is actually better and more reliable. It’s no news that Windows Vista comes kinda bloated by default, with resource hungry services that kneel your system most of the time. We may witness history, as Windows XP can become the most longevive operating system as long as Microsoft won’t have any problem to reanimate it from time to time. Actually, I’m sure Microsoft isn’t too happy about it but you can’t force Vista forever and preloaded Vista systems won’t stop a XP installation, ever.

It seems that Microsoft kept their words and released the Vista Service Pack 2 Beta for the public. This build comes with a series of small speed improvements, bug fixes and security updates. The Windows Vista SP2 Beta upgrade also comes with notable changes
