No wonder that Firefox has so many fans, myself included. The all debated version jump from 3.1 to 3.5 it’s finally here and it doesn’t dissapoint in any way, so far. Developers have promised increased JS loads via their internat TraceMonkey engine and, as we saw in the Beta, it’s a huge improvement.

Well, I need to start by saying, good job there! IE is still a crapy browser and altough I really love the new Windows 7, Firefox still ruls my kingdom. The Europeean Union made the suggestion that Microsoft should include multiple browsers into their new OS. Microsoft didn’t take the suggestion very well and, like a spoiled kid, they announced IE won’t be included at all for all Windows 7 versions shipped to the EU. If you are an Apple iPhone owner you are aware that the company hasn’t yet included any copy/paste function in its software updates and, altough there are some 3rd party applications that come with copy/paste functionalities, we still DO want Apple to include this in their OS. The rumor that the next big update of iPhone’s OS will have copy/paste functionalities started some semi-extatic positive buzzez overthe internet
Although Microsoft will present the new version of Windows Mobile later on this week, we caught a smell of what’s to come with the new WM 6.5 version. The leaked Windows Mobile 6.5 build is presented on the largest WM phone screen, the HTC Touch HD.
The new version of Windows Mobile comes with some good improvments and while this current Beta build is kinda sluggish, we expect the final version to be a little more than advertised. As you will see from the footage, WM 6.5 comes with some nice features and improvments:

Skype has announced that it will release the 4th version of the popular client. The Skype 4.0 version is still in Beta for the past several months. but the final version will arrive somewhere at the start of February, officials announced. The new Skype version will be focused on the video conferencing, making it a key feature in the new improved interface. Also, Skype 4.o will feature a new codec which will handle audio and video streams way more efficiently than the previous one, giving smoother video and clearer voice calls.

After the succesful FaceBook 2.0 App, the application gets its new update, to the 2.1 version. This update however isn’t a major upgrade to its previous version, but it comes with several good patches/fixes. The new Facebook App comes with improved loading times, enhanced sync times and faster inbox loading (which was a very annoying problem, at least for me).

Well, the WordPress dev team announced the release of the 2.7 version several days ago, but unfortunately got stalled a little. However, WordPress 2.7 codename Coltrane was launched several hours ago and it’s aiming to impress. This new WordPress build comes with many interesting new features, a face lift and many improvements and security fixes.

WordPress 2.7 was in its beta stage for a while now and users were getting a little impatient. So, the good news is that Automatic, the company behind WordPress announced that WordPress 2.7 will be launched officially tommorow 8 PM Eastern Time.
