The company stated that there are some problems with Skype’s founders that may lead to its imminent closure. Well, allow us to not fall for this..at this point. Studies show that Skype currently carries about 8% of international voice traffic and has around 40 million active users…daily.

The February big Skype software update

The Skype 4.0 version is still in Beta for the past several months. but the final version will arrive somewhere at the start of February, officials announced. The new Skype version will be focused on the video conferencing, making it a key feature in the new improved interface. Also, Skype 4.o will feature a new codec which will handle audio and video streams way more efficiently than the previous one, giving smoother video and clearer voice calls.
