Microsoft finally realised that Live One Care was a fiasco and decided to throw another free security application on the table, Microsoft Security Essentials. It seems it was Mozilla’s turn to update its browser, shortly after the Opera 9.63 update. The current Firefox updates also addresses several security issues including several critical vulnerabilities. Mozilla Firefox patches no more than 8 security fixes and and 3 critical vulnerabilities. We advise all our Firefox users to update their browsers to the latest release.

It seems that the Opera Dev Team was pretty busy over the last month, after the latest release of Opera Mini and Opera 10 Alpha, comes a stable update, Opera 9.63. This update comes as a response to some security issues that Opera had lately and all users are advised to update it. The update can be made directly from the browser, from the Help menu, the “Chek for Updates” option, or by manually downloading Opera 9.63 from FileCluster or its official ftp.
