Nobody is a stranger when it comes to YouTube and downloading any (almost) video locally to your computer. There are plenty of programs that do this, but one in particular cought our attention, youtubeFisher. While the program itself isn’t very new in the market, its latest version advertises that it can and it will save your videos in the 3072p video format.  Shortly, this means that you can save the videos at an astonishing 4096×3072 resolution, that’s right folks.

Songbird: the future of media players

When I heard about Songbird and it’s features, I became somehow very interested. I have installed it and was placed face to face with an iTunes clone (almost identical interface), which dissapointed me without even testing the actual product. Then I said to myself, hey, if it looks like iTunes, it’s not iTunes and, I was right. Songbird is a brilliant media player, which promises alot and I’m sure it will deliver.

Google Android SDK 1.0 available for download

Google Phone ConceptThe Android Software Developer Kit (SDK) has been released by Google and it’s available for download. The Android SDK will allow developers build applications for any Andoird powered phone. Google is trying to make the Android THE software for the future mobile era and if you ask me, they are on a good road so far.

It’s also obvious that Google wants to be the next “iPhone killer”, with its open-source Android and the upcoming Android Market ( App Store anyone ).
