adobe_air_logoAs of today, Adobe is extending its AIR (Adobe Integrated Runtime) platform to the Linux desktops, covering a gap and making the family ‘whole’. Previously avilable only for the Windows and Mac platforms, AIR is now available for Ubuntu, Fedora, Open SUSE and others. Adrian Ludwig of Adobe stated: “We’re experiencing nearly 100 million installations of Adobe AIR on Mac and Windows by the end of this year”.

The known Linux distribution, Fedora, received its well deserved update to its 10th version. The new Fedora 10 comes with many improvements and fixes such as loading times (including boot times), security tweaks, virtualization management and of course, networking improvements.

The new Fedora distro comes bundled with OpenOffice 10, the latest build of OpenOffice, covering your daily office needs.
