The next version of Firefox recently came out of its beta stages and entered the final version. There is a big buzz on the net around this browser and of course, around the big bad browser war. Who’s the best now? Firefox, Chrome..or maybe Safari? Let’s see what Firefox 4 will bring on the table and maybe we’ll show you some browser tests.
So, Firefox 4 isn’t just an update to Firefox…it’s Firefox revamped. Better interface, faster engine and extra features, dropped Firefox 4 on many people’s wish list. So, what do we expect?

There was a time when syncing your browser’s bookmarks required a bit of importing/exporting and in some occasions some tweaking. After that some plugins/extensions came and made our life much more easier. But now, the Chrome browser users have another reason to be happy, Chrome can easily sync everything from bookmarks to extensions, within 2 clicks. No more external extensions required, you can just do this with your browser, like it was supposed to be in the first place.

Google just announced that they released a new hot stable version of Chrome the 3rd. Google brags with increased speeds and comes with some benchmarking, especially for you. As you can see, the SunSpider benchmark looks very good, beating the crap out of … everybody. The new tab page suffered a look change but this is the least important part. Chrome comes heavily armed for HTML5, which emphasizes the <video> and <audio> tags.
New themes are also present in this new Chrome release, making it even more customizable. You can read more about this stable release on the official Google Blog, but I’ll go play with it some more.

Opera is known for making bold statements, but this time, the went a little further and threatened that they will reinvent the net. Of course, we are always up for a challenge, the question remains, is it a good challenge? The rumors float around that Opera will introduce a new browser, that will revolutionize browsing.
Almost 2h ago, Microsoft announced that Internet Explorer 8 went out of the drawing board and entered the final version. You can check the download page, but be advised that it’s not currently updated to the latest final version, the RC1 is still present for download, which may seem a bit confusing.

The browser war is far from over, the main battle being disputed over JavaScript supremacy. I don’t know about you, but when I think browsers I think about Mozilla’s Firefox, Google Chrome and Opera, being the 3 top contenders. Ya, I don’t think about IE at all..moving along. Somebody told me, “Lunascape is the fastest browser in the world man!” After I killed the guy, I decided to take a look, I hate people dying in vain…so..let’s see.

Hey Mozilla, take care of your kids…the voices seem to say. Even if this isn’t fully confirmed yet, TechCrunch switched the target on the social-based Mozilla powered browser, Flock. According to them, Flock might leave its mommy, Mozilla, running in the arms of the Big Daddy, Google. The quoted sources also say that Flock will be redesigned and build on Google’s own browser, Chrome.
