Core Temp Main

Anyone that uses resource-consuming applications such as games and professional image editors may occasionally need to see the CPU temperature, to make sure the safe levels are not exceeded. Core Temp is a small, free tool that lets you do that and even more. It displays real-time temperatures for each of the processor’s cores along with other information such as min/max temperatures, load levels, model, platform and frequency.

The good news is that Core Temp comes with extra features such as overheating protection and system tray display, but also multiple settings that make it easy to customize for demanding users.

FileMind Main

FileMind is a free file manager that comes with a few simple but very useful tools that are not available in Windows Explorer. FileMind is still in beta stage so until the stable release will be available, it’s likely that more features will be added, but even in its current state it still comes with improved search options, bookmarks and file sorting.

CloneMaster Scan Settings_

As HDDs are getting bigger and bigger we also tend to keep all sorts of data, usually not too well organized. This can also result in having a large number of duplicate files and/or folders that make it even harder to browse stored data, on top of the additional space they occupy.

CloneMaster is a powerful duplicate remover that uses byte-by-byte comparison to find true duplicates. It doesn’t rely on comparing filename, date, time and other attributes that are not 100% reliable. Moreover, it can also find empty (zero-byte) files and folders.
