Apple just released an update for the raw digital camera support in Leopard, iPhone ’08 and Aperture 2. After this update, the following digital cameras have been added and supported:

- Nikon D90

- Sony DSLR-A900

- Canon EOS 50D

- Nikon Coolpix P6000

Microsoft started to throw small pieces of Windows 7 goodies at the developers, raising the enthusiasm for some and curiosity for others. This Windows 7 build is one the Milestone 3 builds, the 6801 build to be more precise.

So, without further delay, let’s see what is Microsoft holding in the Windows 7 bag-o-goodies so far.

It’s clear that Windows Vista isn’t a dead OS, in fact, as we all know, the next operating system, Windows 7 is based on Windows Vista. It also seems that Microsoft is working at the next Service Pack for Windows Vista, namely SP2. While the beta invites were sent out not so long ago, rumors are that Windows Vista SP2 will be launched somewhere in January 2009.

Apple has updated Migration DVD/CD Sharing was to the 1.1 version. Apple recommends all users to upgrade Migration DVD/CD Sharing but the affected machines seem to be the late 2008 MacBooks.

There comes a time in our lives, when we are faced with the all mighty Linux, we want it or not (ok, maybe some of you are just lucky ). Either you want to install it at your place, help a friend who purchased a computer with Linux installed or you just purchased a Linux dedicated server for hosting, the console will greet you first and we need to learn some basic Linux console commands.

In my opinion, the Linux console is still the most powerful tool a Linux user or admin can have, although today’s Linux distributions are very easy to use, almost “console free”.
