The guys from CNET decided to test the most popualar browsers using the SunSpider speed test. They choosed the recent Beta versions of Chrome, Firefox, IE8 and also including the latest Safari. While this chart is pretty obvious, Firefox 3.1 Beta 1 is the fastest of them all, with Chrome following him closely.

This figure is very impressive and in my humble opinion, some of us FireFox users know it’s worth it. Mozilla FireFox is THE browser and to bo honest, those figures don’t surprise me (ok, only a little).
Paul Kim, marketing head said: “The enthusiasm and creativity of Firefox fans was key to making this happen”. I personally hope that FireFox will put IE in a very deep hole, were nobody will ever remember it. Sorry Microsoft, but IE just sucks, not our fault.
