It seems it was Mozilla’s turn to update its browser, shortly after the Opera 9.63 update. The current Firefox updates also addresses several security issues including several critical vulnerabilities. Mozilla Firefox patches no more than 8 security fixes and and 3 critical vulnerabilities. We advise all our Firefox users to update their browsers to the latest release.

It seems that the Opera Dev Team was pretty busy over the last month, after the latest release of Opera Mini and Opera 10 Alpha, comes a stable update, Opera 9.63. This update comes as a response to some security issues that Opera had lately and all users are advised to update it. The update can be made directly from the browser, from the Help menu, the “Chek for Updates” option, or by manually downloading Opera 9.63 from FileCluster or its official ftp.
Not only home users are customizing their computers into the holiday winter spirit, but webmasters also. Here is a scrpt that will add a snowstorm to your HTML/PHP pages without being hard on the eye or intrusive. The JS can also be customized by setting the ammount of snow, the wind and if it should collect or rapidly melt. The only drawback to this script as most JS is that some users may find your page loads rather high.

Today, Mozilla decided release the beast into the public and here it is, the second beta for Firefox 3.1. Probably one of the important features of Firefox 3.1 Beta 2 is its private browsing feature, a feature that was missing from Firefox all along. Basically this feature allows you to browse the web without recording personal data, cookies or other traces.

The kind folk at Google thought about it and they decided it’s not enough that we spend our lives into our emails and they added a Task list. This feature is most welcomed, at least for guys like me that forget things or, that have a hard time schedule things all around. Now, you can just add things to do into your Tasks feature or convert emails into tasks easily and just wait for the ‘event’ to pop-up into your face.
As Christmas approaches rapidly, many of us love to personalize our computers/laptops, being at work or at home. We can add that holiday touch to our computers, bringing the joy of winter and of course, Christmas, everywhere. And we should start with our browser, the main connection with the Internet.

Since not so long time ago, Mac users didn’t had any real torrent clients available. Transmission came into the set, but was very buggy, then Azureus ( now Vuze ), who was and is in my opinion a resource eater. At this moment, Transmission is the most viable solution for Mac OS, but let’s see for how long. uTorrent transformed a simple rumor into reality, announcing the first Mac Beta version. uTorrent is a lightweight version of the popular BitTorrent client and if you ask the community, probably the best torrent client.
