BrowserTraySwitch is a very small application that, as you probably figured, will change your default browser extremly fast. BrowserTraySwitch will stay open in your system tray and you can easily right click and change the default internet browser. While the application is more of a “lazy way of…”, it has its uses, especially for the web debbugger.

The browser war is far from over, the main battle being disputed over JavaScript supremacy. I don’t know about you, but when I think browsers I think about Mozilla’s Firefox, Google Chrome and Opera, being the 3 top contenders. Ya, I don’t think about IE at all..moving along. Somebody told me, “Lunascape is the fastest browser in the world man!” After I killed the guy, I decided to take a look, I hate people dying in vain…so..let’s see.

Mozilla announced recently that their next browser, the Firefox 3.1 will be promoted to the 3.5 version. The main reason behind this promotion is that the next TraceMonkey eangine behind Firefox is a huge addition to the browser, which will bring Firefox to the next level. The 3.1 version didn’t pointed that out very well, as Mozilla states, so jumping directly to the 3.5 version is actually an underline of what’s to come.

Hey Mozilla, take care of your kids…the voices seem to say. Even if this isn’t fully confirmed yet, TechCrunch switched the target on the social-based Mozilla powered browser, Flock. According to them, Flock might leave its mommy, Mozilla, running in the arms of the Big Daddy, Google. The quoted sources also say that Flock will be redesigned and build on Google’s own browser, Chrome.

Believe it or not, this is the first add-on that does and I’m suprised as you are.
