KMPlayer (Korean Media Player) is a media player recently acquired and developed by Pandora TV and released in full version on June 20th 2011, after a few years of initial beta testing and numerous beta releases. Overall this media player is very promising and manages to deliver a high-quality experience to the user. Although the interface might look simple, beneath it lays a strong core that allows the player to handle a large amount of video and subtitle formats, alongside a large number of customization options.

Spotify, the popular music streaming service, just launched a new version of their desktop client that allows users to sync their music between their iPods, iPhones and Android devices. Also, Spotify has launched a music store where users can buy single tracks AND tracks in bulk, 10 tracks for $13.20 to be more precise.
So finally Apple just released the new iTunes 10. While iTunes looks an feels almost the same, it seems that Apple decided to add a little social flavour to the new version, the Ping integration feature. Ping actually is Apple attempt to create a centralized social network of music, artists etc…pretty much like Last.FM.

Microsoft just released an update version of the popular Windows Live Movie Maker, part of the Windows Live Essentials installer. With this update, Microsoft focused on simplicity and user friendliness. More effects, transitions and editing features are promised along with a big bad YouTube import button.

I promised to myself I’ll install Windows 7 when it reaches the final stage, but I couldn’t resist the Release Candidate, so here I am.
