win7codecsI promised to myself I’ll install Windows 7 when it reaches the final stage, but I couldn’t resist the Release Candidate, so here I am. Of course, one must be able to play all the multimedia files it can get and movies are an important part of that ‘multimedia’. Fortunately, Windows 7 comes covered in that area and not from Microsoft but from the creator of Vista Codec Package, another life saver back in the days. Win7codecs is the new Windows 7 codec package that once installed, plays everything and I mean everything.
