We were stunned by this application, because somehow, we felt like magicians for some minutes. World Lens is an augmented reality app that translates in real-time everything you can throw at via the iPhone camera. Yes, we’re not joking and it’s amazing. Imagine you’re in Spain and you want to park you car but there’s a sign that you don’t understand..can you park or not there…now it’s simple, open Word Lens, point the camera to the sign and it will instantly translate it into English. We cannot make an actual review to this app, because we don’t have what to review to be honest. The app has some failures in translation and it’s normal and it costs $4,99.
Also, the only languages so far are Spanish and English but I’m sure the developers will add more as the app progresses. The only thing left to say is that, even if you don’t quite need such an app, it’s just great to have it, believe us. We toyed with it for half a day now and we are still having fun…not to mention bragging to our friends. Oh and one more thing, the app itself doesn’t require an internet connection..and that’s a major feature.
