Windows 7 is Microsoft’s love child and our favorite Windows OS. However, there are some bugging functions that need to be disabled within Windows 7 and one of them is its hibernate function. This can be acomplished very easy following these steps:
1. Click on the Start button.
2. Go to Control Panel.
3. Visit Power Options, Change when the computer sleeps.
4. Click Change advanced power settings.
5. Click and expand Sleep.
6. Click and expand Hibernate After. This option will let you disable or enable (after a certain period of time) the Hibernation function.
If you want the direct command for disabling/enabling this you can use: powercfg.exe /hibernate onpowercfg.exe /hibernate off
