Well, the WordPress dev team announced the release of the 2.7 version several days ago, but unfortunately got stalled a little. However, WordPress 2.7 codename Coltrane was launched several hours ago and it’s aiming to impress. This new WordPress build comes with many interesting new features, a face lift and many improvements and security fixes.
I won’t spoil your curiosity nor the pleasure of installing this new WordPress version, but I can say that, as always, the team and its community did a great job and WordPress 2.7 is worth your time to install. There is a reason why WordPress is the best rated CMS out there and the best blogging platform.
