It seems that Microsoft kept their words and released the Vista Service Pack 2 Beta for the public. This build comes with a series of small speed improvements, bug fixes and security updates. The Windows Vista SP2 Beta upgrade also comes with notable changes, such as:
- Blu-Ray recording
- Windows Search 4 embedded
- Improved desktop gadgets
- Audio and video improvments on various aspects
Microsoft announced that the Vista SP2 Final will arrive somwhere in April and you must uninstall the Beta before installation. If you can’t wait that far, you should give the SP2 Beta a go and install it.
