The reason Vista users went up is because you cannot even buy a new PC or laptop without Vista (unless it's mac). It's impossible to downgrade to XP, how do I know this? I work for a major retailer and that is what I see, I've also bought a new computer this year, of course it comes with Vista, I downgraded to XP and it made sure it crashed atleast three times per day. I wish I'd bought a mac. It seems lots of computer manufacturers have sold their souls to MicroSoft by locking their computers so that you are not able to downgrade. Vista just plainly sucks, I don't know why they are still craming it down our troughs if after two years, we are still not happy with the it.
