There are numerous cases when your computer will crash or freeze without any on-screen error or even any blue screen of death. Many of those crashes are software based, either a faulty driver or a kernel module. WhoCrashed will identify the guilty driver with just one click via a ‘readable’ dump log. I say readable because most dump analysis tools require a bit of debugging knowledge to be understood correctly.
WhoCrashed is dependant on WinDbg (the internal Windows debugger) and if you don’t have it installed, WhoCrashed will automatically fetch it for you. WhoCrashed will identify almost any culprit but keep in mind, no software can pinpoint any error with 100% accuracy.
