Many developers are offering free security applications that can scan your computer for spyware or viruses free, but they won’t clean them until you pay for that program. Of course, there are applications that find a great number of false threats on your system, just to pull out those dollars from your pocket. Advanced System Protector didn’t fall in any category and it’s actually capable of scanning your system AND cleaning the found threats for free. You might also think that a free security application it’s very weak compared with its paid counterparts, again, you might be pleasantly suprised.
Advanced System Protector offers a very good spyware, adware, keylogger or browser protection. In our tests, ASP performed pretty well, removing over 80% threats from our infected system. The full system scan was very quick, completing the task somwhere around 30 mins. Advanced System Protector is easy on the resources, we didn’t noticed any major slowdowns or hick-ups. ASP also is periodically updated to the latest definitions, so you won’t have to worry about that either. Overall, we recommend this security solution as good free alternative and even if you already own a good security solution, you can double scan with ASP for further protection.
