NoRedirect Firefox Extension: A must for the masses
NoRedirect is a Firefox/SeaMonkey extension that lets the user take control of HTTP redirects. It can be used to interdict an ISP’s DNS search redirection hijacks, preview/screen “shortened” URLs, stop the annoying redirection of “smart” error pages, etc. Shortly, the NoRedirect Firefox Extension is a very helpful FF extension, grating the user some control over many of those “spamy” redirects. You wondering where that redirect pop-up will lead to? Or that pesky spyware that you don’t know you have installed…yet? 
Flexible and customizable, NoRedirect puts an end to the usability nuisances of redirects, such as the inability to correct mistakes in the address bar, without affecting legitimate, useful redirects.
Thank God! Thank you thank you thank you!! I have spent a week trying to remove whatever is causing the browser redirects. Nothing worked. This may not remove the cause, but an endrun around the trouble maker works just fine for me!
