I purchased Nikon D90 and installed the software on my MAC machine. I didn’t face any problem.

Cezar,

there is nothing obvious in System Preferences – a Spotlight search for ‘camera’ in System Preferences reveals nothing.

I have run Disk Utility to Repair Disk Permissions and that did sort out a few files.

My system has been running OK since this morning after restarting after the Safe Boot log-in.

I’ll post again tomorrow if the same symptoms appear.

Cezar,

Does this update appear anywhere in System Preferences or has any references there? Also, maybe this sounds stupid, but have you configured your Time Machine? Maybe you can roll it back using TM

Hmm, ya I agree with that statement regarding Apple. However, I’ll look into it and I’ll ask some Mac freaks I know..stay tuned, maybe we can fix this

as it is not the first time that Apple have issued a flawed update, it is time that they provided an de-installlation facility. Re-installing from scratch is hardly an acceptable option.

As I know, you can’t rollback an Apple OS update and you need to reinstall the Mac OS X from your install CDs/DVD.
