The known Linux distribution, Fedora, received its well deserved update to its 10th version. The new Fedora 10 comes with many improvements and fixes such as loading times (including boot times), security tweaks, virtualization management and of course, networking improvements.

The new Fedora distro comes bundled with OpenOffice 10, the latest build of OpenOffice, covering your daily office needs. RedHat has also improved its PackageKit platform, promising to bring more stability and functionality compared to its previous version. For those who don’t know, PackageKit is Fedora’s software installation and updating software.

Browsing through the Fedora 10 release notes, we can see a bunch of new additions and improvements such as better webcam support, 3rd party video drivers, infrared remote support and latests versions of KDE and GIMP. For additional details and information, please visit the official site
