There’s some buzz around the net that Windows will be launching Live Essentials 2011 today. The release comes after the latest beta push back in August 17. While the final release is boldly set to “air” kinda premature, Microsoft promises that the latest suite will take advantage of Windows 7 fully. Essentials includes the popular programs Windows Live Movie Maker, Mail, Messenger, Writer, Sync, and Family Safety. All apps within Live Essentials take advantage of the new ribbon UI and the use of Jumplists.
