Ubuntu, the popular Linux distribution will be launched officially on Thursday, 30 October. Both editions, the server and workstation will be available to vbe downloaded free from the Ubuntu main site and of course, FileCluster.
This version of Ubuntu will be wrapped around portability and connectivity, as Ubuntu Dev Team states. More and more users switch to Linux lately and Ubuntu is a very viable solution for home users along with enterprises. Also, systems with limited resources can benefit alot from Linux, as Ubuntu and other Linux distributions fit in perfectly into this market.
With many features coming along within this new version, we will wait for the official release on Thursday. We will also review some of important features of Ubuntu 8.10.
