Migration DVD/CD Sharing Update 1.1 released by Apple

Apple has updated Migration DVD/CD Sharing was to the 1.1 version. Apple recommends all users to upgrade Migration DVD/CD Sharing but the affected machines seem to be the late 2008 MacBooks. Reading from Migration’s update page, we can see that this update comes with improved performance for migration over wireless networks, FireWire and Ethernet.

The Apple Migration DVD/CD Sharing Update 1.1 has 11.1 Mb and if you want to install it manually, you can download the full updated version (40.29 Mb) from Apple’s website.

OK, if the Apple Migration DVD/CD Sharing Update really is v1.1 and is 11.1 Mb (9.6 Mb according to Software Update on my Mac) how is it that the only download available anywhere is the Apple Migration DVD/CD Sharing Update which is v1.0 and is 43.3 Mb???? Even from the link on this site.
