What is Helix?

Helix is a bootable live cd, full of various forensics tools for your..special needs. If you like to play CSI with your friends or possibly, your girlfriend, using Helix, you can retreive all kinds of data from any computer. Helix does not leave any trails behind it, it’s the virtual policeman you were looking for. Also, Helix is distributed free, thank the guys from E-Fense.

Helix is actually a customized Ubuntu boot cd, full of handy tools.If you are in need for a computer forensics live cd, you’re lucky, Helix is a little wonder CD. However, caution and common sense is advised, the spying business is not the most “profitable” business out there.
