PSP gets its latest firmware update, version 6.00

Sony has recently released the latest firmware update for its PlayStation Portable System (PSP). It may sound like a major update, but keep in mind that this is only a minor update to the system software.

PSP Firmare 6.00 includes the following updates:

- New colors are available for the XrossMediaBar customization. This applies only for PSP 2000 and higher

- A security patch addressing some vulnerabilities within the system software

- Network Update has been renamed System Update

- Group Content] has been added to the options menu.
You can now select either [By Expire Date] or [All] as the method for displaying content that is saved on Memory Stick™ media.

We recommend all PSP owners to update to the latest firmware update.

Every update screws up your psp more… if you had never updated it b4, you could run commodore 64 emulators, hombrew is what they call it, they only want you to do sony stuff…. nazis….. let us use what we bought to the limit! Not under your corporate guideline, I don’t care who made the machine, I want to acess everything the machine is capable of, NOT what you deem worthy!
