Parted Magic is an easy to use free partitioning tool bundled with some really useful applications such as : Truecrypt, Clonezilla, SuperbrubDisk, Partition Image ddrescue and some others. Parted Magic supports the following filesystems: ext2, ext3, ext4, fat16, fat32, hfs, hfs+, jfs, linux-swap, ntfs, reiserfs, reiser4, and xfs.
We tested Parted Magic and we love it. We did some basic partitioning, PM deployed flawlessly. Parted Magic is aimed towards home users and advanced users, combining the ease of use with utility. Add the rest of the applications and we can say it’s a complete bundle. Burn it to a boot cd, if necessary, add extra applications and voila!
