If you’re not familiar with SweetFM, this nifty application acts as a controller between your iTunes and Last.fm. So basically, if you use both, then you will love SweetFM, especially now when the developer decided to make it totally free and open-source.
SweetFM comes with some cool features, making Windows users drool over our Macs. SweetFM takes full advantage of your Mac’s remote, making the couch a long lasting experience (fat included). You can also use all the media keys with the possibility of binding new keys, hassle-free. Exporting your Last.fm playlists also becomes a walk in the park for SweetFM, you can export them directly to your iTunes while snapping your fingers…twice. Album arts, styles and skins make this application even more desirable, but I think that its new “gained” freeware status has no match. Being an open-source project, we should expect more cool features, candy bars and..erm..free MacBook Pro’s!
