Another good free alternative to the old Windows Explorer is Explorer++, a lightweight file manager that can satisfy all your file management needs. Its interface is customizable, easy to use and of course,ready for tabbed browsing. No more opening 5 stances of Windows Explorer to do 2 operations, Explorer++ can handle this while snapping your finger twice.
Explorer++ fully supports drag and drop with all the applications (at least the ones we tested) and of course, features some advanced file operations such as merging. As a conclusion, if you like the look of Windows Explorer, but you want something more stable, easy to use and practical overall, we strongly recommend Explorer++.
