SubDude: Rename your subtitles automatically
I think everybody knows that adding external subtitles to a movie can become boring and slow-ish, especially when you need to rename every subtitle to match the name of the movie file, so your player can pick it up automatically. Either that or add the external subtitle manually within your video player. Fortunately, there are some tools that can ease up our multimedia experience and one of those tools is SubDude.
SubDude will automatically rename the subtitles to match the video/movie’s file name. All you need to do is point your ‘working’ movie folder to SubDude and it will automatically match the subtitles to the movies present within that folder. I’m impressed about SubDude, it didn’t fail once in matching the subtitles. Regulars expressions are used for the matching algorythm, but customization isn’t necessary most of the times.
