netstatsI think the title speaks for itself, but let’s get a bit more into detail. Simple Internet Tools are a bunch of freeware tools that can make your networking/internet life easier, either as an admin or just a wannabe poweruser. Simple Internet Tools has a little more than all the basic applications and I assure you, it’s everything you need under one flag, easy to use, free to take. Now, let’s get to the components..

An IP calculator
This tool is aimed mostly to the admins that need to configure their networks more advanced and provides a way to specify the network class, octet, number of hosts and all the works

An IP converter
Helps you convert a dot ip to its longer sister, again for the admins

IP Scanner
Well, it’s an IP Scanner, provide a range and it wil..uhm..scan it

Netstats
Shows your current system connections with details and activity, a very useful application for both admins and users.ping

Ping Tool
The classic ping tool, the same functionality as the one in Windows but a little more graphic with several add-ons.

Port Listener
Keep a very close eye on any port within your system, usually to intercept hacking attempts made via that open port.

Port Scanner
The evil brother of Port Listener, it scans an IP for any open ports

IP Config
Exactly as the command within Windows only more nicer and graphically enchanced

Trace Route and Lookup
Another handy tools, also present within Windows but more nicer here, will help you lookup any domains and, of course, trace the nods between you and a target address.

Conclusion, you want it, simply because there are all bunched up in one place, you want them because they are nice and easy to use and last but not least, free!
