teracopyYour probably wondering why on earth do you need a program that copies or moves your files, isn’t Windows Explorer enough? Well, no it isn’t…and if you ask me, we should remove it completely from Windows. Fortunately, there are several free programs that come in where the explorerer is failing. One of those programs is TeraCopy, a compact file manager with some good features.

With TeraCopy you can move/copy your files at increased speeds due to the fact that it uses dynamic buffers, which decreases the seeks times alot. Also, any transfer can ne stopped AND resumed with no problem but my favourite feature so far is when any file fails (for any reason), the file is skipped without aborting the whole transfer process. Oh and I forgot the most important part I think, TeraCopy completely replaces Windows Explorer’s copy/move functions.

Conclusion? A very good free system tool, that enhances Windows Explorer to the point where actually can be used.
