mundu Universal Messenger (mundu UM) is a cross platform messaging application, which uses your phone number to exchange messages with your contacts for free. mundu UM uses your existing data connection to route all messages, to save on your messaging cost. With features like privacy controls and contacts syncing, mundu UM is designed to be your primary messaging application.Features- Phone number as primary identifier and address book as contact list.- Setting up mundu UM is very easy, it uses your phone number as your primary identifier and builds your contact list from your address book. You do not have to exchange user ids/pins etc, to add users to your list. Any of your contacts who are part of the UM network are automatically identified and a request is sent to them, asking them to allow you to send them messages and be a part of their network.- Send Messages to other UM users for free.- With mundu UM you can use your phone number to send messages for free to all your contacts, who are part of the UM network. The application uses your data connection to exchange messages with other UM users for free.- Receive messages even when application is not running.
Once a user has signed into the mundu UM network, he will continue to receive messages even if the application is not running or his data connection is down. In such cases, the mundu UM server will route the message as an SMS. (*Not available in certain countries)- Privacy - Allow/Disallow people to see you on the network and send messages to you.- mundu UM attaches a lot of importance to your privacy. Unlike other competing applications, which disregard your privacy by allowing anybody to add you to their list and exchange messages with you, mundu UM lets you decide, who can add you to their list.- Multimedia Messaging:
Besides exchanging messages, you can also exchange photos with your contacts. You can also save any such media received on your phone.
