This is the version of life.turns. for iPhone / iPod Touch.
life.turns. is an Alt-w funded project from the BAFTA Award-winning online photography platform Blipfoto, which gives everyone an opportunity to be part of the Edinburgh Art Festival in 2010.Our aim is to collectively create an animated film of a human figure walking, one frame at a time. Participants are invited to take pictures of themselves or another person in one of eight pre-defined poses then upload to Blipfoto where the frames will be combined into the final film.On 26 August, the finished life.turns. film will be premiered at Inspace in Edinburgh, UK and online at blipfoto.com/lifeturnsThis app lets you participate in two ways:- Choose one of the eight life.turns. poses, take a picture of that pose using your iPhone camera and upload directly to your Blipfoto journal.- Visit Inspace after dark to build and view your own digital zoetrope.
