This is the version of iTyphoon for iPhone / iPod Touch.
iTyphoon is a premium mobile application that provides reliable and relevant typhoon updates to Filipinos and the world for FREE!It has four (4) screens: Details, Map, Reference/Help, and Credits.DETAILS displays the following:
- Heading (update number, current update date/time, next update date/time)- Icon (intensifying, weakening, steady)- Summary (Philippine typhoon name, international typhoon name, current eye location, maximum windspeed, gustiness, area of responsibility, direction and speed, heading towards location)- Background (no typhoon, over ocean, landfall)- Narrative (descriptive behavior of the typhoon)- Signals (Public Storm Signal Warnings issued by PAGASA (Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration)- Distances (distances with respect to places of interest and popular destinations)- Forecast (weather outlook for the next 2-5 days)MAP displays 2 locations denoted by a pin on top of pinch-able, zoom-able and draggable map:
- Green Pin (the user or device location)
