Tired of word jumbles, searches and text twists? Looking for something new? Looking for something that combines your knowledge of words and your ability to think and analyze?
Then Word Craze is for you!
We were looking for something new, so we came up with Word Craze. The objective of the game is to unscramble the board in the fewest move/swaps and/or shortest time so that the board consists of a word down the diagonal from upper left to lower right and words down and across that begin with each letter in the diagonal word. However, not just any words will do. They must be the words chosen by the game. And with over 11,000 words the possibilities are endless. This is where the numbers at the end of each row/column come in to play. The number indicates the number of letters that are correctly positioned in that row/column at that point in time. They do not tell you if they are in the correct spot in that row/column.
Seems simple enough, right? Well, perhaps or perhaps not!.
And then throw in a word like 'orfevrerie' and you might be scratching your head for quite a while. Oh and did we happen to mention the four extra letters in 'Hard' mode. You need to get those extra letters moved to the lower right gray squares.
And then if that isn't enough there are six levels of increasing difficulty. Level one is a 5 by 5 grid, level two is a 6 by 6 grid, etc. With level 6 being a 10 by 10 grid. To be able to access later levels, you must first complete the prior levels in 'Hard' mode. NOTE: In this Lite version, only the Level 1 5 by 5 grid is accessible. You must purchase the full version of Word Craze to access levels 2 to 6.
