This is a graphic novel collaboration between the award winning writer Simon Ings and the acclaimed film maker and painter, Nichola Bruce. It has been interpreted for mobile by sacculi, and built using openFrameworks, with support from Arts Council England.It tells the story of Jorge- Scraps, because that's all that's left of him- and his life story as an ambitious footballer growing up in the harsh realities of the favelas in Brazil. It's a story of survival, of hope, and the dark passages on our journey to our destiny. Brought to life using original artwork, specially composed soundtrack and visual effects, it's a compelling story told in three parts- and this is the first, parts two and three to follow...
