This is the version of Simulator for Fetal Doppler for iPhone / iPod Touch.
This is a simulator of a home use fetal doppler machine (this app will not convert the iphone, itouch or ipad into a functional doppler machine).The real machine can be used to track the heart rate of the unborn baby. Medical literature has shown regular monitoring of the fetal heart rate is effective in lowering the complication rate at the time of delivery.This simulator facilitates the mother to develop a habit of using the fetal doppler machine regularly. It has a data logging function so that the mother can review her usage. A short comment is made based on how regular she use the simulator. Additional functions include introduction to fetal doppler monitoring technic and information on the usual fetal heart rate with reference to the fetal maturity.Of course the app can be used in entertainment purpose.This simulator facilitates the mother to develop a habit of using the fetal doppler machine regularly.
