This is the version of ScoreLynx for iPhone / iPod Touch.

ScoreLynx is native iPhone/iPad application that is used by golfers to deliver live leader board capabilities during golf tournaments, golf outings, or casual multi-foursome rounds. ScoreLynx setup for tournaments or multi-foursome play is fast and easy. A designated administrator creates a unique "group name" and “game key” to define a new game for their group. When the game is created the administration also defines the game type (several common and some uncommon games are available), skin type (several common and uncommon skin types are available), course (administrators can easily create a custom course if your course is not available yet), and the tees to be played.iPhone/iPad users designated as their team's score keeper “check in” to the designated group and game and then setup their foursome much the same way they would on a paper score card. They enter player names (up to four player's per group) and player handicaps. By turning the device sideways (landscape orientation) a Scorecard appears that allows a score keeper to enter each player's hole by hole gross score.Turning the phone back to portrait mode allows the user to access the live leaderboard. As each score keeper enters scores the leader board refreshes with the current scores (team and/or individual) and completed hole number. The leaderboard will also display any skin winners (or potential winners) as they occur.That's it! It's simple and easy to use, but will make you feel like a pro as you play through your round always knowing where you stand relative to the field.Addtional capabilities on the leader board allow you to “drill down” to see the team members and each player's hole by hole score.All scores are saved in a centralized database which may be accessed by registered ScoreLynx users to retrieve historical score information.The ScoreLynx application is completely free, and downloadable from the app store. To test it out you can use the generic group name of "TestGroup" and generic game key of "test".
