Pocket Anatomy assists medical, nursing, allied health and science students in their human anatomy studies. The app will be particularity valuable in examination preparation, as a continuing anatomy resource throughout the degree program and as a human anatomy reference in the professional workplace.
The learning content is presented as a layered sequence of high-definition illustrations annotated with a detailed narrative associated with the area of the body in question. The user can supplement the anatomical materials with their own individual learning notes as they progress through the learning content.
Pocket Anatomy comes with a built-in capability to self-test as a mechanism to support and reinforce the learning process – a feature of particular benefit in examination preparation or for quizzing your anatomy class friends!
Note: Pocket Body 1.0 lists the deltoid as one of the rotator cuff muscles a legacy error, which will be resolved in Pocket Body 1.1 - available in mid-September 2010.
