This is the version of Newsdesk for iPhone / iPod Touch.
Newsdesk provides a quick and elegant look at the world's headlines, from a selection of major news outlets.
While ordinary RSS readers give you hundreds of links to wade through, Newsdesk cuts it down to just the single story on top of each site's frontpage at any given moment.
Since it only takes a few seconds to see what the major stories are, you can make sure you stay updated throughout the day - no matter how busy you are.
Additionally, you can dive into any story simply by tapping on it and opening it up in the integrated browser (no need to open Safari), keeping Newsdesk in the background.
* Bonus feature: Newsdesk contains an optional set of headlines from major Norwegian online newssites.
NOTE: Newsdesk is not meant to be a substitution for in-depth surfing through your favorite sites, blogs and niche publications. Rather, Newsdesk's selection of newssources is tailored simply to make sure you don't miss any major breaking stories throughout the day.
