Müller AO Classification of Fractures—Long Bones for the iPhone and iPod touchThe Müller AO Classification of long bone fractures is the standard classification used by trauma surgeons and physicians dealing with skeletal trauma worldwide. This app is a reference tool that will assist both beginners and experts in classifying any fracture of the long bones. Two pathways allow the beginner and the expert quick access to the information they need.An introductory text and a section on classification terminology help users familiarize themselves with the classification system and the alphanumeric structure of the Müller AO Classification of long bones fractures.Functionality:
- Fractures are presented with an enlargeable line drawing, the specific classification code, and clinical information. In most cases a good-quality, enlargeable x-ray is also included
- Fracture subgroups are described in detail for most bone segments (text only)
- The app contains more than 125 accurate line drawings and 90 x-rays. Some x-rays are accompanied by CT scans.
